The Board of Directors of Mudajaya is pleased to announce that Special Universal Sdn Bhd, a 60%-owned subsidiary of Mudajaya Energy Sdn Bhd, which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mudajaya Corporation Berhad, which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has successfully completed and commissioned the 10MW solar energy power farm, located at Gebeng, Pahang. The concession period for the 10MW Solar Energy Power Farm is for 21 years as per the Renewable Energy Power Purchase Agreements signed with Tenaga Nasional Berhad. The Feed-in Tariff Rates approved by the Sustainable Energy Development Authority Malaysia (“SEDA”) for Phase I and Phase II of the solar energy power development with 5MW each are RM0.9016/kWh and RM0.8295/kWh respectively. The 10MW Solar Energy Power Farm will provide a recurrent income stream to the Group and is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets of the Group for the current and future years.
