The Board of Directors of ETITECH is pleased to announce that ETI Tech (M) Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ETITECH had received a Letter of Award for a contract worth RM70.0 million from Tulangis Maju Sdn Bhd to carry out the Project Management Works in relation to the design, construction and completion of 500 units of apartments in Kampung Kilat, Alor Setar, Kedah Darul Aman under the People’s Housing Programme (Program Perumahan Rakyat) (“Contract”). The Contract is expected to commence upon handing over the site possession which is anticipated in May 2014 with a construction period of 36 months. This Contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of ETITECH Group for the financial year ending 31 July 2015 onwards. The Contract is subject to normal risk encountered by other companies undertaking a similar endeavors and with the past experience and expertise of the existing Board in project management, this risk could be mitigated at this juncture. Nevertheless, the Group has taken necessary steps to protect itself and to mitigate the risks as and when it occurs. None of the directors or major shareholders of ETITECH or persons connected with them has any interest, whether direct and/or indirect in the transaction.
