The Board of Directors of Mudajaya is pleased to announce that Mudajaya Corporation Berhad ("MCB"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company has on 28 November 2014 signed a Contract with Siemens Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. ("Customer") in relation to the Construction and Completion of the Main Civil Works for Pengerang Cogen Power Plant, Johor with a contract price of RM55.5 million (without Optional Works)(“Project”). The Main Civil Works (without Optional Works) undertaken by MCB is expected to complete by 5 February 2016. In the event that the Customer orders the Optional Works, MCB shall be entitled to an equitable adjustment to reflect the increase or decrease in time required to perform the Optional Works or any part thererof. The Optional Works are valued at RM157.9 million. The Project is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets of the Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2015 onwards. None of the Directors or major shareholders or persons connected to the Directors or major shareholders of Mudajaya has any direct or indirect interest in the Project.
