Hibiscus
Petroleum Berhad wishes to announce that it has today acquired Genesis
Hibiscus Sdn Bhd (1030018-K) (“Genesis Hibiscus”), a dormant shelf company
incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act, 1965, with an authorised
share capital of RM100,000.00 divided into 100,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00
each and a paid-up capital of RM2.00 from non-related parties. Genesis Hibiscus
will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hibiscus Petroleum Berhad. Concurrently, Genesis Hibiscus has today become the sole shareholder of Cayman Hibiscus Inc SPC (“Cayman Hibiscus”), a company incorporated under the laws of the Cayman Islands, with an issued and paid-up share capital of 1 ordinary share of US$1.00 par value.
