Kuala Lumpur, 9 May 2013: Quill Capita Management Sdn Bhd (“QCM”), the manager of Quill Capita Trust (“QCT”), a listed commercial real estate investment trust (“REIT”), today announced that QCT’s realized net income was recorded at RM8.11 million for the first quarter ended 31 March 2013 (“1Q 2013”). This was an increase of 0.5% from the realized net income of RM8.07 million reported in the corresponding quarter in the preceding year (“1Q 2012”). As a result, the realized earnings per unit (“EPU”) for 1Q 2013 was up from 2.07 sen in 1Q 2012 to 2.08 sen in 1Q 2013.
