Further to the announcements made by the Company on 30 August 2012, 1 October 2012 and 1 November 2012 in compliance with Paragraph 4.1 of PN17, the Board of Directors of PETONE (“Board”) wishes to announce that the Company has appointed Public Investment Bank Berhad as its Principal Adviser to evaluate various options in its endeavour to formulate a plan to regularise PETONE’s financial condition in accordance with Paragraph 8.04(3) of the Main Market Listing Requirements (“Regularisation Plan”). Premised on the First Announcement, the Company is required to submit a Regularisation Plan to the relevant authorities by 30 August 2013 which is approximately 9 months from the date hereof. Pursuant to Paragraph 4.1(b) of PN17, the Board anticipates that the Regularisation Plan to be formulated will not result in a significant change in the business direction or policy of the Company. However, necessary announcements will be made accordingly should there be any development on the Regularisation Plan that will result in a significant change in the business direction or policy of the Company.
