On behalf of the Board of ALB, Maybank IB wishes to announce that the SC had, vide its letter dated 15 October 2010, approved the Proposed Exemption.
The SC has no objection and approved the Proposed Acquisition of STL Group, under the equity requirement for public companies. Maybank IB/ALB is required to inform the SC upon completion of the Proposed Restructuring Scheme. Nevertheless, ALB is required to comply with the equity condition imposed vide SC's letter dated 18 June 2004, pursuant to its listing on the ACE Market of Bursa Securities.
Under the requirement of the Code, Ancom and its PAC is also required to comply with the disclosure requirements under PN2.9.1 of the Code.
