Further to the Company's announcement on 15 November 2013, wherein the Court of Appeal ("COA") after hearing submissions of both counsels unanimously allowed GASB's appeal and set aside the Kuala Lumpur High Court's ("KLHC") order given on 12 June 2012 with cost of RM10,000.00 awarded to GASB and the COA has also ordered the sum RM6,309,564.76 paid into KLHC be released to GASB. GASB has been served a Motion in the Federal Court for leave to appeal filed by Tasja Sdn Bhd ("Tasja"). The court has originally fixed 24 December 2013 for case management but it was re-fixed to 12 March 2014 to allow Tasja to apply for grounds of judgement from the COA. The Federal Court has fixed 2 June 2014 for hearing of the case management pending the release of the ground of judgement from the COA. Dated this 18th day of March 2014. | |
