We refer to the announcement dated 3 October 2012 where an announcement was made stating that the SC had granted an extension of time up to 10 October 2013 to rectify the reconfiguration of net lettable area and conversion of car parking bays into additional retail area in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur Mall (“Reconfiguration and Conversion”). As at 3 September 2013, the Reconfiguration and Conversion is still pending decision from the relevant authority. On behalf of Pavillion REIT Management Sdn Bhd (“PRMSB”), CIMB Investment Bank Berhad and Maybank Investment Bank Berhad made an application to the SC on 3 September 2013 to seek a further extension of 12 months commencing from 11 October 2013 up to (and including) 10 October 2014 to fulfill the Reconfiguration and Conversion (“Proposed Extension of Time”). We had today, received a letter from the SC, approving the Proposed Extension of Time, subject to the following conditions: (i) PRMSB or its advisers is to make half yearly announcements to Bursa Securities on the actions taken to comply with the Reconfiguration and Conversion; and (ii) PRMSB or its advisers is to update the SC on the actions taken to comply with such condition when the announcements are made.
