Reference is made to the Company’s announcements dated 9 September 2013, 10 September 2013 and 18 September 2013. The Board of Directors of KIB ("Board") wishes to announce that KIB had on 23 September 2013 received a letter from Messrs CAS & Associates ("CAS"), informing that CAS is not able to give consent to act as new auditors of KIB due to internal resources constraint. A copy of the said Letter is attached to this announcement. The Board has poposed to nominate Messrs BDO (AF 0206), Chartered Accountants ("BDO") as the new auditors to fill the vacancy created by the removal of Messrs Raki CS Tan & Ramanan for the financial year ending 31 December 2013, subject to the letter of consent to act to be received from BDO. Further development of the nomination of new auditors will be announced to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad accordingly. This announcement is dated 27 September 2013. | |
