The Board of Directors of GBGAQRS wishes to announce that Gabungan Strategik Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has on 26 December 2012 accepted a Letter of Award dated 18 December 2012 from Soon Chai Architect issued on behalf of Peridot Development Sdn Bhd for the construction, completion and maintenance of the “Main Building Works for Cadangan Membina 30 unit Kilang Berkembar 3 Tingkat Berserta Pejabat di Tingkat Mezzanine yang Mengandungi (a) Jenis A1 – 6 unit; (b) Jenis A2 – 6 unit; (c) Jenis B1 – 7 unit; (d) Jenis B2 – 7 unit; (e) Jenis C1 – 2 unit; (f) Jenis C2 – 2 unit dan 2 unit Pencawang Elektrik TNB di atas Lot 102540 (82040), Seksyen 25, 40400 Shah Alam, Selangor Darul Ehsan”, including all ancillary and associated works (“the Project”). The contract sum for the Project is RM36,492,256.25. The Project is expected to be completed by 25 September 2014. The Project is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets to the GBGAQRS Group for the financial years during the contract period. The Company does not foresee any exceptional risk other than operational risk associated with the Project. None of the Directors and/or Major Shareholders of the Company and/or persons connected to them have any interest, direct or indirect in the Project. This announcement is dated 26 December 2012.
