Description | Announcement by Parkson Retail Group Limited - Discloseable Transaction in relation to the Execution of Cooperative Agreement to Acquire Qingdao Shopping Mall |
We attach herewith the announcement made to The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (“The HKEx”) on 20 December 2012 by Parkson Retail Group Limited (“PRGL”), a 51.53% owned subsidiary of the Company listed on The HKEx, in relation to the entering into a Cooperative Agreement between Beijing Huadesheng Property Management Co., Ltd. (“Beijing Huadesheng”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Parkson Retail Development Co., Ltd. which is in turn a wholly-owned subsidiary of PRGL, and Shanghai Industrial Qingdao Development Co., Ltd. (“Vendor”) for the acquisition by Beijing Huadesheng from the Vendor of the land use right and the building ownership right of a shopping complex to be constructed by the Vendor on a vacant land located at No. 195, Hong Kong East Road, Laoshan District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province, the People's Republic of China with total planned gross floor area of approximately 216,000 square metres (“Qingdao Shopping Mall”), for a maximum consideration of Rmb1,570.0 million. |
