Introduction The Board of Directors of E.A. Technique (“Board”) wishes to announce that the Company has received a letter of award dated 22 December 2014 for the provision of EPCIC of a FSO facility for Full Field Development (“FFD”) Project in North Malay Basin with a contract value amounting to USD191.8 million (“Contract”). Subsequently, the Contract has been signed on 13 February 2015. This Contract is for a period of 20 months, with work commencing on 22 December 2014 and shall expire on 22 August 2016. Financial Effects This Contract will have no effect on the issued and paid-up capital of the Company and the shareholdings of the Company’s substantial shareholders. The Contract is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets per share of E.A. Technique for the duration of the Contract. Risk Factors Barring any unforeseen circumstances, there are no significant risk factors associated with the Contract save for operational and execution risk such as availability of skilled manpower and materials, weather conditions, as well as political, economic and regulatory conditions. Directors and Major Shareholders’ Interest None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of the Company and/or persons connected with them have any direct or indirect interest in the Contract. Directors’ Statement The Board is of the opinion that the acceptance of the Contract is in the best interest of the Company.
