Reference is made to the announcements dated 30 December 2014, 16 January 2015, 21 January 2015 and 4 February 2015 respectively (the “Offer Announcements”) pertaining to the Partial Offer. Unless otherwise stated, the abbreviations and definitions used herein shall have the same meanings as those used in the Offer Announcements. The Board of Directors of HSCB wishes to announce that the Partial Offer had closed as of 5.30 p.m. (Singapore time) on 13 February 2015 (the “Closing Date”), the details of which are set out in the attachment. Accordingly, the Partial Offer is no longer open for votes and acceptances, and any votes and acceptances received after 5.30 p.m. (Singapore time) on the Closing Date will be rejected. This announcement is dated 16 February 2015.
