Further to the Company’s announcements made on 24 March 2014, 4 April 2014, 14 April 2014 and 14 May 2014, the Board of HIB wishes to inform that the Company vide their solicitors, had on 3 June 2014, informed the Court that the extension of restraining order pursuant to Sections 176(1) and 176(10) of the Companies Act, 1965 had expired on 30 April 2014 and there is no restraining order in place at the moment. Pursuant thereto, the Deputy Registrar has made the following directions:- (i) HGSB, being the Defendant to file its Defence by 17 June 2014; (ii) MGI, being the Plaintiff to file its Reply to Defence, if any, by 1 July 2014; and (iii) both parties to file interlocutory applications, if any, by 16 July 2014. Further thereto, the Court has fixed the next case management on 16 July 2014 of which both parties must inform the Court on whether they wish to have the matter undergo a Court assisted mediation process.
