Compugates is pleased to announce that Compugates Sdn. Bhd, (“CSB”) a wholly owned subsidiary of Compugates, has signed a SONY Dealership Agreement (“the Agreement”) with Sony (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (“Sony Malaysia”) for the appointment of CSB as an Authorised Dealer of Sony Digital Imaging Products in Malaysia (“the Appointment”) on 19 November 2012 according to all the terms and conditions as stipulated therein. The Appointment is effective from today, being the date of receipt of the Agreement by Sony Malaysia and will expire on 31 March 2014 subject to renewal in writing. Effect of the Appointment The Appointment is expected to contribute positively to Compugates Group’s earnings for the financial year ending 31 December 2013. However, the Appointment will not have any effect on the net assets, share capital and shareholdings structure of Compugates. Directors’ and Major Shareholders’ Interests None of the Directors or major shareholders or persons connected to the Directors or major shareholders has any direct or indirect interest in the Appointment.
