Contents: On behalf of the Board of Directors of HRB, we are pleased to announce that HRB has incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary company, Handscomms Sdn Bhd (Company No. 902193-P) ("Handscomms") under the Companies Act, 1965 on 25 May 2010 with an issued and paid up capital of RM2.00.
The principal activity of Handscomms is to provide all kinds of telecommunication hardwares and softwares in relation to video conferencing systems, broadcasting systems and system maintaining for call centres.
The rationale for the set-up of this new subsidiary is to realign and refocus the business activities under Handal Engineering Sdn Bhd ("HESB"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. This would allow HESB to focus on its project management for the upstream and downstream activities of the Oil and Gas industry and other industries in general. Thus, Handscomms would be able to focus on its core activities as a profit oriented entity which previously was under the Communication Division of HESB.
