Description	ASDION BERHAD (“ASDION” OR THE “COMPANY”) - ARTICLE RELATING TO EMERGENCE OF NEW SHAREHOLDERS AND NEW BUSINESS IN ASDION
Reference is made to an article appearing in The StarBiz on even date quoting sources alleging that Asdion might see the emergence of new shareholders following an exercise that could see it having a new business in the form of logistics and courier services. Based on those sources, it was said that the Company is looking at acquiring a company involved in the logistics business which also provides courier services, which could be funded in the form of cash or shares. It was further reported that whichever the funding option may be, a new shareholder is likely to emerge in the Company. In relation to the above, Asdion wishes to inform that it is currently in advanced stages of negotiation for the proposed acquisition of a company involved in the logistics business via cash. Notwithstanding this, no formal agreement pertaining to the final terms has been reached at present. Any progress pertaining to the subject matter will be announced in due course. Further to the above, the Company wishes to confirm that to the best of its knowledge and after making due enquiry with the major shareholders of Asdion seeking their views on the emergence of new shareholders as reported above, the Company is not aware and has no knowledge of any rumour or report concerning the same matter. This announcement is dated 28 January 2015.
