CC--140703-50406) pertaining to the Writ and Statement of Claim, the Board of Directors of Lii Hen Industries Bhd ('the Company') wishes to inform that on 8 October 2014, at the hearing of Civil Appeal No: J-02(NCVC)(W)-406-03/2014 (High Court Muar Civil Suit No. 22 NCVC-63-07/2013), the appellant, Mr. Ng Seang Hwa applied to the Court of Appeal to withdraw the appeal against the Company. The Court of Appeal allowed the application and struck off the appeal and ordered the Appellant, Mr. Ng Seang Hwa to pay the sum of RM5,000/- as cost to the Company.

Reference is made to the Company’s announcements dated 10 July 2014, 8 August 2014, 22 August 2014 and 23 September 2014 in relation to the Bonus Issue, Share Split and Amendments.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Century, MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that based on the entitlement date of 8 October 2014:

(i) the number of Bonus Shares to be listed and quoted on 9 October 2014 is 61,032,148 Bonus Shares pursuant to the Bonus Issue; and

(ii) the number of Subdivided Shares to be listed and quoted on 9 October 2014 is 366,192,890 Subdivided Shares pursuant to the Share Split after taking into account the existing issued and paid-up share capital of the Company consisting of 122,064,297 Century Shares and the issuance of 61,032,148 Bonus Shares.

For information purposes, the enlarged issued and paid-up share capital of Century will be 366,192,890 Subdivided Shares as at 9 October 2014 pursuant to the Bonus Issue and Share Split.

The above will take effect from 9.00 a.m. on Thursday, 9 October 2014, being the next market day immediately after the entitlement date for the Bonus Issue and Share Split on Wednesday, 8 October 2014.

On behalf of the Board, TA Securities wishes to announce that an office copy of the sealed order of the High Court of Malaya, Malacca confirming the Par Value Reduction has been lodged with the Companies Commission of Malaysia on 8 October 2014, upon which the Par Value Reduction shall take effect and hence deemed completed.

 

The shareholders of the Company should note that the par value reduction does not affect the number of or the rights attached to the existing Shares held by them. All Shares held in the securities account of the shareholders shall be unaffected, except for the reduction in its par value from RM0.50 to RM0.10 per Share.
