The Board of Directors of INFORTECH wishes to inform that the Company is proposing to change its name from "INFORTECH ALLIANCE BERHAD" to "JAG BERHAD" ("Proposed Change of Name"). The name "JAG BERHAD" had been approved and reserved by the Companies Commission of Malaysia ("CCM") for the Company. The Proposed Change of Name is subject to the approval of the shareholders of the Company at the forthcoming Sixteenth Annual General Meeting at a date to be announced later. The Proposed Change of Name, if approved by the shareholders, will take effect from the date of issuance of the Certificate of Incorporation on Change of Name of a Company (Form 13) issued by the CCM pursuant to Section 23 of the Companies Act, 1965. A Circular to Shareholders containing the details of the Proposed Change of Name will be despatched to the shareholders in due course. This announcement is dated 15 May 2014. |
