Reference is made to our announcement dated 2 July 2012 pertaining to the commencement of the member’s voluntary winding up of PowerSeraya Limited (“PowerSeraya”), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of YTL Power International Berhad (“YTL Power”) on 30 June 2012. YTL Power wishes to announce that PowerSeraya held its final general meeting on 23 May 2014 (“Final Meeting”). The Return by Liquidator relating to the Final Meeting was lodged with the Registrar of Companies, and Official Receiver of Singapore on 23 May 2014 (“Lodgment of the Return”). In accordance with the Companies Act (Cap 50) of Singapore, PowerSeraya shall be dissolved on the expiration of 3 months after Lodgment of the Return. The dissolution of PowerSeraya will not have any material effect on the earnings or net assets of the YTL Power Group for the financial year ending 30 June 2014.
