Remarks :- "Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd would like to clarify that on the basis of settlement taking place on 18 December 2013 with share split GDEX shares of RM 0.05 each. Any shareholder who is entitled to receive GDEX share split shares, may sell any or all of his GDEX shares arising from the share split beginning the Ex-Date (13 December 2013).
For example, if Mr X purchases 100 GDEX shares on cum basis on 12 December 2013, Mr X should receive 100 shares on 17 December 2013. As a result of the share split, 200 GDEX shares will be credited into Mr X's CDS account on the night of 17 December 2013 being the Book Closing Date. Therefore, Mr X can sell the share split shares of 200 on or after the Ex-Date ie from 13 December 2013 onwards."
