Pursuant to Paragraph 9.19(23) of the Main Market Listing Requirements, YTL Corporation Berhad (“YTL Corp” or “the Company”) wishes to announce that Syarikat Pembenaan Yeoh Tiong Lay Sdn Bhd (“SPYTL”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of YTL Corp, has acquired 2 ordinary shares of par value RM1.00 each representing the entire issued and paid-up share capital of Horizon Valley Sdn Bhd (“Horizon Valley”) for a cash consideration of RM2.00 ("the Acquisition"). As a result of the Acquisition, Horizon Valley has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of SPYTL and an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of YTL Corp. Horizon Valley was incorporated on 28 June 2013 with an issued and paid-up share capital of RM2.00 comprising 2 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each. Horizon Valley will be principally involved in property development. The Acquisition does not have any material effect on the earnings, net assets and gearing of the YTL Corp group for the current financial year.
