Pursuant to Paragraph 8.23 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the Board of Directors of Uzma Berhad wishes to announce that the Company intends to seek its shareholders’ approval for the proposed provision of financial assistance to Sazma Aviation Sdn. Bhd., a 40% owned associated company of Uzma Teras Sdn. Bhd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company (“Proposed Provision of Financial Assistance”) at an Extraordinary General Meeting to be held at a date to be announced. The Circular to Shareholders setting out the details of the Proposed Provision of Financial Assistance will be issued to the shareholders of the Company in due course.
