Further to the announcement dated 11 January 2011, Tracoma Holdings Berhad would like to announce that as at 24 February 2011, the Company did not comply with Paragraph 8.02(1) of the Main LR.
The public shareholdings spread of Tracoma as at 24 February 2011 was 24.21%. Tracoma did not comply with the minimum public spread of 25.00%.
The Company had informed its major shareholders of the non-compliance and suggested to exercise public placements of their current shareholdings to meet the definition of a public shareholding spread pursuant to the Main LR ("Rectification Plan"). This is still on-going and the Company has until 30 June 2011 to fully meet the requirement.
Bursa Malaysia had via its letter dated 6 January 2011 granted TRACOMA a further extension of time of six (6) months until 30 June 2011 to comply with the public shareholding spread requirement pursuant to Paragraph 8.02(1) of the Main LR.
