In the above cited Article, the Managing Director (MD) of IRIS Corporation Berhad ("ICB" or "the Company") was quoted to state that the Gulf crisis will not affect the Company at all. The Company wishes to clarify that the MD meant to say that the Gulf crisis has not affected the Company's operations in Egypt as at 21 February 2011.
The Company is always vigilant regarding any updates that it may receive regarding its operations in Egypt. As announced on 28 August 2008, the Company reiterates that moving forward there is no assurance that adverse economic, political and regulatory conditions will not materially affect the business activities of the ICB Group.
