Reference is made to the announcement dated 11 August 2014 in relation to the above. Unless stated otherwise, all definitions used in the said announcement will have the same meanings as used herein. Prior to the announcement dated 11 August 2014, a land search was conducted on 7 August 2014 and the result of the search showed there was no caveat lodged on the Land. Furthermore, the representations and warranties by the Vendors in the SPA stated that other than the intended acquisition and the right of way for electricity lines, there were no other encumbrances on the Land. The Company wishes to announce that subsequent to the announcement dated 11 August 2014, Grand Prestige’s solicitors conducted a land search on the Land on 15 August 2014 and discovered that there was a caveat lodged on 8 August 2014. Thereafter, a further instrument search on the details of the said caveat was obtained on 22 August 2014. The Company is currently seeking clarifications from the Vendors and concurrently evaluating our options. The Company will decide on its next course of action and will make the necessary announcements, where applicable. This announcement is dated 26 August 2014. | |
