Further to the Company’s announcements made on 15 January 2010, 22 September 2011, 13 February 2012, 25 November 2013, 17 December 2013, 5 February 2014, 12 February 2014, 3 April 2014, 11 April 2014, 18 April 2014, 19 May 2014 and 9 June 2014, the Board of Directors of HIB wishes to announce that pursuant to the case management on 13 June 2014, the Learned Judge has fixed 27 June 2014 for the Liquidators to update the Court on the status of the hearing of the application for stay of execution in respect of the winding-up order granted to United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Berhad against the Company. The Court had also directed the Company to file its witness statement by 1 August 2014. Further, the Court has vacated the originally fixed hearing date on 18 August 2014 and fixed the new hearing dates on 19 August 2014 and 20 August 2014. Further development on the above matter will be announced to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad as and when necessary. This announcement is dated 13 June 2014. | |
