MAS has today received from the Malaysian Competition Commission (MyCC) its Notice of Finding of Infringement (“the Notice”) dated 10 April 2014 and its decision dated 31 March 2014 (the "Decision"). The said Notice and Decision maintains its finding of infringement and the fine of RM10 million as provided under the MyCC Proposed Decision dated 6 September 2013. MAS has instructed its solicitors to lodge an appeal to the Competition Appeal Tribunal against that Decision. MAS and its group of companies are committed to comply with all applicable laws, including competition laws, in their countries of operation. This announcement is dated 10 April 2014.
