Unless otherwise defined, all capitalised terms used in this announcement shall have the same meanings ascribed to them respectively in the Earlier Announcements and Circular. On behalf of the Board of Directors of Farlim, AmInvestment Bank Berhad wishes to inform that, Farlim had on 28 January 2014 received a written request from 1MBD RE (Ayer Itam) Sdn Bhd dated 27 January 2014, for a further extension of time of up to 28 February 2014 to make payment of the Balance Disposal Price to their solicitors. Farlim had on 28 January 2014 agreed to the abovementioned request. In this regard, the relevant clause of the SPA shall be amended to the effect that the Purchaser has been granted a further extension of time until 28 February 2014 to pay to the Purchaser’s Solicitors the Balance Disposal Price together with ten percent (10%) interest per annum, chargeable on the Balance Disposal Price, calculated on a daily basis commencing from 24 December 2013 (being the immediate working day after the 90th day from the date of the SPA) until the date of actual payment (inclusive). For avoidance of doubt, all other terms and conditions of the SPA shall remain unchanged and continue in full force and effect.
