The Board of Directors of Y&G wishes to announce that the auditors, Messrs CK Cheah & Co had on 18 October 2013 given notice in writing to the Company of their intention to resign as the Auditors of the Company. Messrs CK Cheah & Co has indicated in their letter that their resignation is due to they forsee that they will not be able to meet the Company's reporting deadline with their current manpower. The Audit Committee and the Board of Directors will meet as soon as practicable to review and make recommendation for the appointment of new Auditors for tabling to shareholders at an Extraordinary General Meeting to be convened for the said purpose at the earliest practicable date. Messrs CK Cheah & Co's resignation will only take effect immediately on the appointment of new Auditors. This announcement is dated 22 October 2013. | |
