The Board of Directors ("Board") of CB Industrial Product Holding Berhad ("CBIP") is pleased to announce that AVP Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd (Company No.: 305825-A), a 51% owned subsidiary of CBIP, has received the Letter of Award ("LOA") dated 20 June 2013 from the Ministry of Housing and Local Government Malaysia. Further information on the said LOA is set out as follows: Detail Amount     RM136,800,000.00   To supply, deliver, install, test and commission 100 units of 4x2 Prime Mover vehicle attached with water tank trailer with a capacity of 20,000 liters complete with main pump, engine and fire fighting equipment to the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia The LOA is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of CBIP Group for the financial years ending 31 December 2013, 2014 and 2015. The Board does not foresee any exceptional risk in relation to the LOA other than the normal risks associated with the operations of CBIP Group. None of the Directors and/or substantial shareholders of CBIP Group and/or persons connected to them have any interests, directly or indirectly, in the LOA. This announcement is dated 5 July 2013.
