On behalf of the Board of Directors of Sunchirin, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that the Company has today, received a press notice from Nichirin Co., Ltd., Sunrise Industry Co., Ltd., Sunrise Asia Management Pte. Ltd. and Masahito Hiraishi, informing that the Securities Commission (“SC”) has, vide its letter dated 13 February 2013, approved the application submitted to the SC on 15 January 2013 for the exemption under Practice Note 44 of the Malaysian Code on Take-Overs and Mergers, 2010 in respect of the Proposed SCR.
