Reference is made to our previous announcement dated 9 October 2014. The abovementioned case was fixed today for Case Management for parties to update the Court on the State Government’s leave application at the Federal Court on the issue of locus standi of Syabas following its assignment to CIMB Investment Bank in a separate suit involving the State Government of Selangor and SYABAS. In today’s proceeding, the Court was informed that the leave application has been fixed for hearing on 6 January 2015, and that SYABAS has since written to the Federal Court seeking for an adjournment. Having heard this, the Court has now fixed this matter for further Case Management before the learned judge Tuan Harminder Singh Dhaliwal on 13 February 2015 pending the outcome of the said leave application at the Federal Court. Perangsang Selangor will make the necessary announcement on further development of this matter in due course. This announcement is dated 8th of December 2014. | |

Reference is made to the Company's previous announcements dated 14 February 2014 and 16 May 2014 respectively in relation to the Project, Package D44 - Construction of Sewer Pipe Networks at Bunus, Kuala Lumpur (Design and Build) ("D44 Project") as awarded by Jabatan Perkhidmatan Pembetungan ("JPP"), Kementerian Tenaga, Teknologi Hijau dan Air ("KeTTHA") ("Government of Malaysia") to its wholly owned subsidiary, Puncak Niaga (M) Sdn Bhd ("PNSB"). Puncak wishes to announce that PNSB had on 5 December 2014 entered into a Novation Agreement with the Government of Malaysia and Puncak Niaga Construction Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Lambang Sejagat Sdn Bhd) ("PNC") (a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company) for PNSB to novate to PNC, all of its rights, liabilities, benefits, interests, duties and obligations under and in respect of the contract for the D44 Project as awarded by the Government of Malaysia, with effect from 5 December 2014, in accordance with the terms and conditions as stipulated in the Novation Agreement.
