1) The Board of Directors of KPS Consortium Berhad ("KPSCB") wishes to announce that on 19 November 2014, the Company and its subsidiaries have received Writ of Summons and Statement of Claim from Oxford Dragon Sdn Bhd, Scenic Trends Sdn Bhd, City Growth Sdn Bhd, Diamond Selection Sdn Bhd, Willowcrest Management Sdn Bhd and Tee Yam against Paragon Paper Mill Sdn Bhd, Hai Ming Paper Mills Sdn Bhd, I'Kranji Industries Sdn Bhd, KPS Plywood Sdn Bhd, Hai Ming Enterprise Sdn Bhd, Akateak Sdn Bhd, Hai Ming Trading Co Sdn Bhd, KPS Consortium Berhad and former director Mr Koh Poh Seng for the following claims:- a) Declarations that the Sale and Purchase Agreements between the Plaintifs and the Company and its subsidiaries dated 1st August 2011, 13th October 2011, 7th June 2012 and 6th July 2012 and being null and void; b) RM2,193,130.31 with 5% interest per annum on the amount from the date of the filing of the action until the date of the full settlement; and c)RM14,210,000.00 with interest per annum on the amount from the date of the filing of the action until the date of the full settlement.
