Samalaju Industrial Port Sdn. Bhd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad has issued the Letter of Acceptance Ref: (108)BHB(SIPSB)/21.7/1 dated 26th September 2014 to Samado Sdn. Bhd. (‘the Contractor”), Lot 212, 2nd Floor, Jalan Haji Taha, 93400 Kuching, Sarawak for the above contract based on inter alia the following terms and conditions:-
1. Scope of Contract The Construction and Completion of Proposed Samalaju Port Development Project At Samalaju, Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia – Administration Building And Associated Works Package For Phase 1 Works.
2. Contract Sum The Contract Sum is Ringgit Malaysia: Forty Million Four Hundred Twelve Thousand Two Hundred Eighty And Sen Twenty (RM40,412,280.20) only.
3. Duration of Contract The duration of this Contract shall be for a period of twenty one (21) months from the date of Notice to Commence Works.
4. Liquidated Ascertained Damages A sum of RM8,850.30 being 0.0219% of Contract Sum per day shall be imposed as Liquidated and Ascertained Damages for non-performance of the above Contract. This This announcement is dated 30 September 2014 | |
