Thereafter, he joined Total Office Centre Sdn Bhd (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Makro Cash & Carry Distribution (M) Sdn Bhd) as the Controller in 1998. He re-joined BGroup in 2001 as Senior Finance Manager of Carlovers Carwash Ltd in Sydney and was relocated back to Malaysia in 2002 to become Senior Finance Manager of Berjaya Starbucks Coffee Company Sdn Bhd. In 2006, he was promoted to Deputy General Manager of Finance and transferred to Nusa Otomobil Corporation Sdn Bhd. In 2008, he was seconded to the Finance Division of Bermaz Motor Sdn Bhd ("Bermaz") and subsequently promoted to General Manager of Finance in 2009. He was transferred to Bermaz in July 2011.
