The Board of Directors of Catcha Media (“the Board”) wishes to inform that the Company has on 29 April 2014 submitted the Group’s and the Company’s Audited Financial Statements for the financial year ended 31 December 2013 (“AFS 2013”) to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”). Pursuant to Rule 9.19(36) of the ACE Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities, the Board wishes to inform that there is a variance of more than 10% between the Loss after Tax and Minority Interest (“LATMI”) stated in the unaudited fourth quarter results for the year ended 31 December 2013 announced on 28 February 2014 (“Unaudited Fourth Quarter Results”) and the Profit after Tax and Minority Interest (“PATMI”) stated in the AFS 2013. The variance between the Unaudited Fourth Quarter Results and the AFS 2013 is set out below:
The variance between the LATMI of the Unaudited Fourth Quarter Results and the PATMI of AFS 2013 is approximately 156%. Below is the reconciliation on the LATMI of the Unaudited Fourth Quarter Results and the PATMI of AFS 2013:
Explanatory note:
(a) The gain on dilution of interest in an associate was under-recognised as it was offset with the share of loss in associate during the year. The announcement is dated 29 April 2014.
