We refer to our earlier announcements dated 12 January 2012, 13 January 2012, 8 February 2012, 27 February 2012, 13 March 2012, 19 March 2012, 27 March 2012, 9 April 2012, 23 April 2012, 30 April 2012, 8 May 2012, 22 May 2012, 31 May 2012, 14 August 2012, 28 August 2012, 24 September 2012, 16 October 2012, 5 November 2012, 20 November 2012, 10 December 2012, 17 December 2012, 7 January 2013 and 12 December 2013 respectively on the above matter. We wish to announce that FGB was informed on late evening of 16 December 2013 by the solicitors for Faber LLC, a subsidiary of FGB, that the Abu Dhabi Cassation Court had rejected Faber LLC’s appeal and confirmed the Al Dhafra Court of First Instance, Justice Department, Emirate of Abu Dhabi’s decision in respect of the claim to be paid by Faber LLC to the Claimant, amounting to AED8,054,010.07 (equivalent to approximately RM6,541,969.29). The Claimant had also filed an additional claim sum of AED2,000,000.00 (equivalent to approximately RM1,734,920.00) or thereabouts of which the hearing had been fixed on 24 December 2013.
