APPLICATION FOR A FURTHER EXTENSION OF TIME TO SUBMIT THE REGULARISATION PLAN TO THE REGULATORY AUTHORITIES PURSUANT TO PARAGRAPH 8.03 AND PRACTICE NOTE 16 OF THE MAIN MARKET LISTING REQUIREMENTS OF BURSA MALAYSIA SECURITIES BERHAD ("BURSA SECURITIES") ("APPLICATION")

We refer to the announcement dated 18 July 2013, 12 August 2013 and 14 October 2013.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Premier, Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad would like to announce that we had today received a letter from Bursa Securities confirming an extension of time granted up to 9 March 2014 to submit the regularisation plan to the regulatory authorities.

The extension of time is without prejudice to Bursa Securities' right to proceed to suspend the trading of the securities of the Company and to de-list the Company in the event that:

(i) the Company fails to submit the regularisation plan to the regulatory authorities for approval on or before 9 March 2014;

(ii) the Company fails to obtain the approval from any of the regulatory authorities necessary for the implementation of its regularisation plan; or

(iii) the Company fails to implement its regularisation plan within the time frame or extended time frames stipulated by the regulatory authorities.

Upon occurrence of any of the events set out in (i) to (iii) above, suspension may be imposed on the trading of the listed securities of Premier upon the expiry of five (5) market days from the date Premier is notified by Bursa Securities and Bursa Securities may de-list the Company.
