We refer to the announcement dated 9 September 2013 on the receipt of the notice of voluntary conditional take-over offer from AmInvestment Bank Berhad on behalf of the Offeror to acquire the following:

(a) all the ordinary shares of RM0.50 each in OWB (excluding treasury shares) (“OWB Share(s)”) not already held by the Offeror; and
(b) all the new OWB Shares that may be issued prior to the closing of the offer arising from the exercise of outstanding options granted pursuant to OWB’s executives’ share option scheme,

for a cash consideration of RM1.05 per OWB Share.

The Board of Directors (save for Wong Lee Keong, Lim Poh Khian, Lim Mee Ling, Cheah Yew Kong, Chong Swee Main and Lim Wai Heng) wishes to announce that it does not intend to seek another person to make a take-over offer for OWB Shares.
