The Board of Directors of WHB wishes to announce that White Horse Ceramic (India) Pte. Ltd. ("WHINDIA"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of WHB in India had on 8 July 2013 received a Notice of Striking-Off dated 5 July 2013 from the Office of Registrar of Companies, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India that the name of WHINDIA has been struck-off on 5 July 2013 from the Register under Section 560 (5) of the Indian Companies Act, 1956 and WHINDIA is deemed to be dissolved with effect from 5 July 2013. WHINDIA has been dormant and has no intention to carry on its business activities. The striking-off the name of WHINDIA has no material effect on the net assets and earnings per share of the WHB group for the financial year ending 31 December 2013. None of the Director or major shareholders of the Company or persons connected to them have any interest in the above striking-off. Upon the above, WHINDIA has ceased to be the wholly-owned subsidiary of WHB with effect from 5 July 2013. This announcement is dated 8 July 2013. | |
