On behalf of the Board of Directors of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (“TNB”), AmInvestment Bank Berhad (“AmInvestment Bank”) is pleased to announce that Kapar Energy Ventures Sdn Bhd (“KEV”), a 60% subsidiary of TNB, proposes to issue sukuk based on the Shariah principles of Ijarah (“Sukuk”) of Ringgit Malaysia Two Billion (RM2,000,000,000.00) in nominal value which have been assigned with a final rating of AA+IS by Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad. The Sukuk is targeted to be issued by KEV on 5 July 2013.
