Reference is made to the Company’s earlier announcements dated 20 February 2013, 21 February 2013, 27 February 2013 and 1 March 2013 in relation to the above. Puncak wishes to update the Exchange that the Management of the Company has, on even date, sent a follow up letter in response to KDEB’s letter dated 28 February 2013 which was received on 1 March 2013 to seek for further clarification from KDEB on several aspects of the Offers which remain unclear. The letter from KDEB dated 28 February 2013 was in reply to Puncak’s letter dated 27 February 2013 wherein the Company had listed several items which required clarification and/or confirmation from KDEB. Puncak has subsequently, on even date, received a letter from Pengurusan Aset Air Berhad (“PAAB”) dated 1 March 2013 in response to Puncak’s earlier letter to PAAB dated 27 February 2013 wherein PAAB stated, inter alia, that it was not involved, consulted or made privy to the Offers made by KDEB to Puncak as contained in KDEB’s letters to Puncak dated 20 February 2013 nor will it comment on the consolidation of the various entities in the State of Selangor nor to appraise the valuation principles as prescribed by KDEB in its Offer letters. The Management of Puncak together with its Adviser is presently evaluating the impact of this letter from PAAB to the Offers made by KDEB. The Management of Puncak would require full and complete information in order to properly and fully evaluate the Offers before the same is presented to the Board of Directors of the Company for consideration.
