DescriptionWe refer to Bursa Malaysia’s letter (Ref : YL-130122-35049) dated 22 January 2013 in relation to the news article appearing in The StarBiz, Page 4, Friday, 18 January 2013, entitled “Perisai projects double-digit growth for 2013”, particularly on the following statements:-

a) "Perisai Petroleum Teknologi Bhd is projecting a double-digit growth in its net profit for 2013, following its proposed acquisition of a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) facility”.

b) “We expect to achieve about 10% to 15% growth overall,” he told reporters after a naming ceremony for the group’s new jack-up drilling rig here yesterday.”

The Company wishes to clarify that the quoted statements refer to a performance target over all aspects of the Company’s performance for 2013 which the Company is striving to achieve. This performance target is an ordinary goal setting exercise customarily adopted by corporations.
