We, CIMB Group Holdings Berhad (“CIMBGH”) are pleased to announce that CIMB Bank Berhad (“CIMB Bank”) has successfully completed its issuance of RM1,500 million Tier 2 Subordinated Debt under its RM5.0 billion Programme on 30 November 2012. The Sub Debt is rated AA+ by Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad. The Sub Debt has a maturity of 10 years from the issue date and is callable on any coupon payment date on or after 5 years prior to the maturity date (10NC5). The coupon rate of the Sub Debt is 4.15% per annum to be paid semi-annually. The exercise of the call option on the Sub Debt is amongst others, subject to the approval of Bank Negara Malaysia.
