Further to the announcement to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad made on 3 October 2012 in relation to the abovecaptioned matter, the Board of Directors of SAAG wish to clarify the following items of SAAG announcement dated 3 October 2012:- 2.1.2 Basis in arriving at the offer price The basis for 3.4 times: Being an unlisted entity and based on industry forecast and expectations for the next 3 years. 2.1.4 Payment of the consideration There are no terms of any arrangement for payment on a deferred basis. 3. Rational VDP is defined as Vendor Development Program. VDP is a preference given to local Malaysians in particular Bumiputras for supply of equipment and services to Petronas using Malaysian resources. 4.2 Net Assets The Proposed Disposal is not expected to have any material effect on the Company's net assets per share and gearing for the financial year ended 31 December 2011 and not 31 December 2012 as previously announced. 12.
