Further to our announcement made on 23 October 2012, the Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce the followings:- 1. The net book value of the industrial building based on the latest audited financial statement. The industrial building is part of the trading stock of Kuotai Development Sdn. Bhd. (“Kuotai”) and not property, plant and equipment. As such it is classified as inventories under current assets and is valued at cost and net realisable value whichever is the lower. 2. The original cost of investment to Kuotai Development Sdn. Bhd. and the date of such investment. Kuotai undertook the development on the parcels of land described as Parent Lots 84 & 224 Block 233 Kuching North Land District, which Kuotai acquired at a cost of RM845,280 in 1997. The whole project was completed in the year 2009 with total costs incurred amounting RM11,569,000. The costs inclusive of cost of land that was allocated to the Survey Lot 2404 was RM247,935.46 was accounted for as part of the inventories cost of RM2,623,472 in the financial statements of the Company for the financial year ended 30 June 2011. 3.
